IN KENYA
The Electronic Sports Kenya Federation (ESKF), widely known as Esports Kenya, is the official national sports federation mandated to develop and promote esports across the country.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Nairobi, Esports Kenya is officially registered under the Sports Registrar within the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports. In December 2024, Esports Kenya reached a milestone when it was formally recognized by the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK), placing Kenya among the nations officially embracing esports as a legitimate sport.
